Shooting guard Bradley Beal is leading the way while averaging 28.3 points over the past three contests, including a season-best 36 in Wednesday’s 131-117 win at Atlanta.

The Brooklyn Nets suffered through a long losing streak filled with close losses before finally winding up on the right end of a tight game Friday night. The Nets aim to make it two victories in a row when they travel into Manhattan to visit the New York Knicks on Saturday.

The Boston Celtics have put it all together on the offensive end of the floor and can extend their winning streak to a season-high five games when they visit the Chicago Bulls on Saturday. Los Angeles was outscored 44-21 in the fourth quarter on Friday to see a double-digit lead turn into a 133-120 loss to host San Antonio.

The Portland Trail Blazers are trying to pull out of a funk and will look to post back-to-back wins for the first time in more than two weeks when they host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday. The Trail Blazers dropped six of seven before putting together a solid performance on both ends of the floor in a 108-86 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Thursday.

The Los Angeles Clippers look to bounce back from their most dismal offensive effort of the season when they host the Miami Heat on Saturday. Los Angeles recorded a season worst for points, shot just 33.8 percent and committed 19 turnovers in Wednesday's 96-86 loss to Memphis.
