No. 14 Oklahoma 41, No. 24 Texas Tech 20: Landry Jones threw for 259 yards and two touchdowns and Oklahoma ended a three-game losing streak in Lubbock against previously unbeaten Texas Tech.

Backup quarterback Blake Bell had a pair of short touchdown runs out of the "Belldozer" package for Oklahoma (3-1, 1-1 Big 12), which pulled away with 27 unanswered points. Javon Harris returned one of three interceptions for a touchdown.

Oklahoma avoided losing consecutive regular season games for the first time since 1999 - the longest streak in the FBS. The Sooners still haven't lost consecutive games in the same season since 2003 - the last time they won in Lubbock.

Texas Tech's No. 1 ranked defense failed it first real test as Jones and company erased any doubt about the outcome early. In the process, the Sooners avenged last season's stunning 41-38 loss in Norman to the 29-point underdog Red Raiders. Seth Doege was 22-of-36 for 203 yards for Texas Tech (4-1, 1-1).

Jones was 16-of-25 for 175 yards and two touchdowns in the first half - the last to Kenny Stills sparked the 27-point barrage and gave Oklahoma a 21-13 lead. Bell's 1-yard score made it 31-13 in the third quarter and Harris' 46-yard return of a tipped pass 33 seconds later broke the game open.
