No. 23 Texas A&M’s high-powered offense was too much for No. 24 Baylor as the Aggies won 55-28 at Kyle Field.

Ryan Tannehill completed 25-of-37 passes for 415 yards and threw a career-high six touchdowns for Texas A&M (4-2, 2-1 Big 12), which defeated Baylor (4-2, 2-2 Big 12) for the third straight time.

Ryan Swope caught 11 passes for 206 yards and a career-high four touchdowns.

Texas A&M outgained Baylor 681-480, including 266-50 on the ground. The Aggies took a 24-14 lead into halftime and extended it to 41-28 late in the third quarter.

Baylor had a chance to cut the deficit to six early in the fourth quarter. The Bears had first-and-goal from the Aggies' 9-yard line. But Robert Griffin III’s fourth-down pass sailed incomplete.

On the ensuing possession, Tannehill completed a 47-yard touchdown pass to Uzoma Nwachukwu.

Griffin finished 28-of-40 for 430 yards, three touchdowns and an interception, and Terrance Williams caught eight passes for 146 yards and a score. Baylor failed to score at least 35 points for the first time this season.

Texas A&M improved to 32-10-3 all-time at home against the Bears.
