The Baylor Bears continued to settle old scores with the college football establishment Saturday with a 30-22 win over the Texas Longhorns at Austin.

A week after cracking the Top 25 for the first time since 1993, the Bears (7-2, 4-1 Big 12) beat Texas for the first time since 1997. The Longhorns suffered their third consecutive home loss. It's the first time Texas has lost three straight in Austin since 1988.

The Bears trailed 19-17 entering the fourth quarter, but big plays and Longhorn mistakes helped them outscore Texas (4-4, 2-3) 13-3 in the final quarter. It was yet another sloppy performance by the Longhorns, including dropped passes and ill-timed penalties.

Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III completed 16 of 24 passes for 219 yards, two touchdowns and one interception, while running back Jay Finley rushed 15 times for 116 yards and a touchdown.
