Arizona blew a 20-point lead, but scored a late touchdown to defeat No.10 Iowa 34-27 Saturday night.

Nick Foles connected with Bug Wright on a 4-yard scoring pass with 3:57 to play in the game with the score tied at 27 to boost Arizona to a 3-0 start to the season.

The 18th-ranked Wildcats scored on their first possession of the night after a blocked punt deep in Iowa territory. Arizona also got an interception return for a touchdown by Trevin Wade of 85 yards, and Travis Cobb returned a kickoff 100 yards for another score on the way to a 27-7 lead at the half.

But Ricky Stanzi, who threw three touchdown passes, led the Hawkeyes back.

Stanzi hit Jewel Hampton on a 4-yard scoring pass in the second quarter and then found Derrell Johnson-Koulianos for a 37-yard touchdown to cut the deficit to 27-14 in the third quarter.

His third scoring pass, to Marvin McNutt, closed the gap to 27-21.

Iowa (2-1) tied the game at 27-27 when Broderick Binns intercepted Foles and returned it 19 yards for a touchdown midway through the fourth quarter. The go-ahead point after was blocked.
