Prukop aired out a 75-yard touchdown pass to Smith to put the Argonauts briefly in front 13-10 before Marshall found the end zone from 11 yards out, but Zack Medeiros connected on a 41-yard field goal and added a kick single to level the score at 17-17 heading into halftime.
