Tyrell Sutton gained 88 yards on 11 carries while Jaelon Acklin caught a scoring pass for Hamilton, which improved to 7-0 at home this season.
Logan Kilgore was 23-of-32 for 233 yards and a touchdown but threw three interceptions for the Eskimos (7-8), who missed an opportunity to lock up a playoff spot. C.J. Gable racked up 97 yards from scrimmage before suffering a knee injury in the third quarter and Natey Adjei had a TD reception for Edmonton, which fell to 3-5 on the road.
Evans fired a 5-yard touchdown pass to Banks and found Marcus Tucker for the ensuing 2-point conversion to put Hamilton on top 8-0 before Sean Whyte kicked a 9-yard field goal to cut Edmonton's deficit to five points after one quarter. Lirim Hajrullahu converted a 31-yard attempt and Evans threw a 14-yard scoring strike to Acklin before hitting Bralon Addison for the 2-point conversion to help the Tiger-Cats build a 19-3 halftime lead.
Hajrullahu kicked a pair of field goals, including a 33-yarder on the last play of the third quarter, to stretch Hamilton's advantage to 25-6 before Adjei caught a 9-yard touchdown pass from Kilgore early in the fourth to pull Edmonton within 13. Backup quarterback David Watford scored on a 2-yard run to restore the Tiger-Cats' 19-point cushion and Richard Leonard returned an interception 19 yards for a TD to put an exclamation point on the convincing victory.
