Lirim Hajrullahu converted a 31-yard attempt and Evans threw a 14-yard scoring strike to Acklin before hitting Bralon Addison for the 2-point conversion to help the Tiger-Cats build a 19-3 halftime lead.

Hajrullahu kicked a pair of field goals, including a 33-yarder on the last play of the third quarter, to stretch Hamilton's advantage to 25-6 before Adjei caught a 9-yard touchdown pass from Kilgore early in the fourth to pull Edmonton within 13. Backup quarterback David Watford scored on a 2-yard run to restore the Tiger-Cats' 19-point cushion and Richard Leonard returned an interception 19 yards for a TD to put an exclamation point on the convincing victory.
