Tiger-Cats 30, Eskimos 27: Dane Evans threw three touchdown passes and Lirim Hajrullahu kicked a 34-yard field goal as time expired to lift visiting Hamilton past Edmonton.

Evans completed 22-of-30 passes for 336 yards and Bralon Addison made four catches for 126 yards and a touchdown for Hamilton (10-3), which became the first team in the CFL to clinch a playoff berth. Brandon Banks had five receptions for 72 yards and a TD while Marcus Tucker finished with three catches for 54 yards and a score for the Tiger-Cats, who have won five of their last six games.

Logan Kilgore was 22-of-36 for 223 yards and a pair of touchdowns to go along with a rushing score but threw three interceptions for the Eskimos (6-7), who were without star quarterback Trevor Harris due to an arm injury. C.J. Gable accounted for 97 yards from scrimmage while Greg Ellingson caught three passes for 50 yards and a touchdown for Edmonton, which has lost four consecutive games.

Evans aired out touchdown passes to Banks (42 yards), Tucker (41) and Addison (76) as the Tiger-Cats raced out to a 21-0 first-quarter lead. Hajrullahu tacked on a 48-yard field goal to extend Hamilton's advantage before Kilgore threw a 6-yard touchdown pass to DaVaris Daniels on the last play of the second quarter to cut Edmonton's deficit to 24-7.

Ellingson hauled in a 32-yard TD pass in traffic following a fumble by Evans with 4:19 left in the third quarter to pull the Eskimos within seven points and Kilgore scored on a 1-yard quarterback sneak early in the fourth to even the contest. Hajrullahu (38 yards) and Sean Whyte (48) traded field goals before the former banked in the game-winning attempt off the upright to win it for Hamilton.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Banks became the first Tiger-Cats player to surpass 1,000 receiving yards in three consecutive seasons since Darren Flutie accomplished the feat from 1999-2001. … Edmonton added QB Ricky Ray, who won two Grey Cups with the Eskimos (2003, 2005), to its Wall of Honour during a halftime ceremony. … Kilgore has thrown four touchdown passes compared to 14 interceptions in nine career CFL games. … Hamilton LB Simoni Lawrence made eight tackles to move past Baron Miles (504) for 36th place on the league's all-time list.
