Argonauts 46, Redblacks 17: McLeod Bethel-Thompson threw for 411 yards and three touchdowns as Toronto cruised past Ottawa to end a 14-game road losing skid.

Bethel-Thompson completed 26-of-39 passes while James Wilder Jr. accounted for 87 total yards and three touchdowns for the Argonauts (2-9), who snapped a three-game losing streak. S.J. Green hauled in eight passes for 130 yards and Derel Walker gained 90 on five catches to go along with a rushing TD for Toronto, which moved within two points of Ottawa for third place in the East Division.

Jonathon Jennings went 33-of-42 for 327 yards and a touchdown and Mossis Madu Jr. made 12 catches for 83 yards to lead the Redblacks (3-8), who have dropped four consecutive games and five in a row at home. Dominique Rhymes caught eight passes for 98 yards while Brad Sinopoli finished with eight receptions for 63 yards and a touchdown for Ottawa.

Jennings threw a 12-yard touchdown pass to Sinopoli to open the scoring and Lewis Ward kicked a 45-yard field goal to help put the Redblacks in front 10-3 before Walker took a jet sweep 1 yard for a TD to level matters after one quarter. Bethel-Thompson fired a 24-yard scoring strike to Rodney Smith to give the Argonauts an 18-10 lead before Ward converted a 16-yard kick to pull Ottawa within five points at intermission.

Qudarius Ford recovered a fumble by Sinopoli and raced 47 yards for a touchdown to stretch Toronto's advantage to 25-13 before Ward drilled a 47-yard field goal to close the gap to nine points. Bethel-Thompson found Wilder for a pair of touchdowns (11 and 24 yards) before the Argonauts running back powered his way into the end zone from 5 yards out to put the exclamation point on an impressive performance.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Toronto snapped a CFL-record 12-game streak without a rushing touchdown with Walker's TD run in the first quarter. … Ottawa DB Antoine Pruneau suffered a leg injury in the first half and did not return. … Green moved into 19th place past Tony Gabriel (9,832) on the CFL's all-time receiving yards list with 9,839. ... The Redblacks have registered a league-low eight passing touchdowns in 2019.
