Tiger-Cats 48, Lions 8: Jeremiah Masoli threw for 259 yards and three touchdowns as host Hamilton routed BC to advance to the East Division Final.

Masoli completed his first 10 passes en route to a 14-of-19 performance while Alex Green gained 62 yards on 17 carries for the Tiger-Cats (9-10), who will travel to the nation's capital to play the Ottawa Redblacks on Nov. 18. Bralon Addison hauled in five passes for 124 yards while Luke Tasker had three receptions for 70 yards and a pair of touchdowns for Hamilton, which scored 21 points off turnovers.

Travis Lulay was limited to 103 yards on 8-of-17 passing with an interception and a fumble before he was relieved in the third quarter as the Lions (9-10) fell on the road for the eighth time in 10 games. Jonathon Jennings completed 11-of-18 passes for 172 yards with a touchdown toss to Shaq Johnson while Ricky Collins Jr. made five catches for 95 yards for BC.

Offensive lineman Kelvin Palmer recovered a fumble in the end zone to put the Tiger-Cats on top 7-0 and Tasker caught a 14-yard touchdown pass to double the advantage after one quarter. Masoli tossed a 9-yard touchdown pass to Sean Thomas-Erlington before scrambling to his left and firing a 25-yard scoring strike to Tasker as Hamilton built a commanding 28-0 halftime lead.

Frankie Williams picked off a pass by Lulay and sprinted 39 yards for a touchdown before Simoni Lawrence's 92-yard fumble return led to Dane Evans' 1-yard TD run late in the third quarter as the Tiger-Cats pulled ahead 44-0. Jennings aired out a 30-yard scoring pass to Johnson early in the fourth to get the Lions on the board before Lirim Hajrullahu kicked a 41-yard field goal with 2:04 left to cap the scoring.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Hamilton became the first team in 33 years to score touchdowns on its first three drives in a playoff game. … BC's Wally Buono, who has won five Grey Cups and 13 division titles, coached his final game and will retire with a CFL-record 282 victories. … Masoli has thrown eight touchdown passes in three games against the Lions this year. … Lions LB Solomon Elimimian made five tackles after missing the previous 14 games with a broken wrist.
