Roughriders 19, Eskimos 12: Defensive lineman Willie Jefferson returned an interception 49 yards for a touchdown with 1:37 left in the fourth quarter as Saskatchewan rallied to defeat visiting Edmonton.

Zach Collaros completed 25-of-38 passes for 259 yards, but the Roughriders (10-5) could not find the end zone until Jefferson leaped to pick off a short pass and ran uncontested for the score. Kenny Shaw made five catches for 70 yards while Shaquelle Evans gained 59 on six receptions for Saskatchewan, which has won seven of its last eight games.

Mike Reilly was 13-of-27 for 222 yards and gained another 57 on the ground but threw three interceptions for the Eskimos (7-8) while his 71-yard connection with Bryant Mitchell on the last play of the game came up eight yards short of a touchdown. Mitchell caught three passes for 93 yards and Duke Williams gained 78 on six receptions for Edmonton, which has lost five straight on the road.

Brett Lauther booted a 23-yard field goal to give the Roughriders an early lead before Sean Whyte responded with 32- and 18-yard conversions as the Eskimos moved ahead 6-3 early in the second quarter. Reilly was intercepted at the Saskatchewan 20 and Lauther tied the contest with a 39-yard kick, but a fumble by Collaros set up Whyte's 42-yarder with 1:07 remaining that gave Edmonton a 9-6 lead at intermission.

The teams again traded field goals in the third quarter before the Eskimos missed a big opportunity to extend their lead when Nick Marshall picked off a pass by Reilly at the Roughriders' 10-yard line. Mercy Maston intercepted Collaros at the Edmonton 33 with 2:55 left to stall a drive by Saskatchewan, but Jefferson returned an interception for a TD for the second time this season and Lauther added a 38-yard field goal with nine seconds to play.
