Naaman Roosevelt made five catches for 41 yards while Nick Marshall ran for a score as Saskatchewan halted a four-game slide at BC.

Travis Lulay was 21-of-36 for 240 yards and a touchdown while Jeremiah Johnson had six receptions for 58 yards for the Lions (3-6), who have lost their last two contests by a total of four points. Bryan Burnham hauled in four passes for 72 yards and a score while Ty Long went 5-for-5 on field-goal attempts for BC, which suffered its first home loss of the year (3-1).

The Lions opened the scoring on a 20-yard field goal by Ty Long, who booted a 27-yarder with 3:17 left in the first quarter after Marshall ran for a 1-yard score for Saskatchewan. The Roughriders increased their lead to 17-6 early in the second on Brett Lauther's 37-yard field goal and Collaros' 6-yard touchdown pass to Williams-Lambert, but BC pulled within 20-18 at halftime thanks to a pair of kicks by Long and a 10-yard TD pass from Lulay to Burnham.

A single and a 26-yard field goal from Lauther in the third quarter gave Saskatchewan a 24-18 advantage. Long connected on his fifth attempt of the game, a 30-yarder on the first play of the fourth period that cut the deficit to three, but the Lions got no closer than the Saskatchewan 46 on their final four possessions.
