Eskimos 40, Alouettes 24: Mike Reilly threw for a season-high 424 yards and three touchdowns as Edmonton rolled over visiting Montreal for its fourth win in five games.

Reilly completed 33-of-42 passes and connected with Duke Williams, Shaquille Cooper and Bryant Mitchell for touchdowns while scoring another on the ground as the Eskimos (6-3) defeated the Alouettes for the 10th straight time. Cooper also rushed for 102 yards, Mitchell hauled in seven passes for 128 yards and Williams made seven catches for 72 yards.

Antonio Pipkin was 14-of-25 for 217 yards while throwing for one TD and rushing for another in his first CFL start as he filled in for Johnny Manziel (concussion) for Montreal (1-8), which lost its sixth consecutive contest. Geno Lewis and B.J. Cunningham (six catches, 82 yards) also scored touchdowns while linebacker Henoc Muamba finished with 12 tackles and a sack for the Alouettes, who have lost 19 of their last 20 games.

Reilly connected with Cooper for an 11-yard touchdown - his first in the CFL - and a 10-0 lead, but a failed onside kick gave the Alouettes a chance to counter quickly and Lewis ran 4 yards for a score with 3:02 left in the first quarter. Williams caught a 10-yard TD early in the second and, after a 1-yard scoring run by Pipkin closed the gap to three, Reilly's desperation throw found Mitchell for a 13-yard score and Sean Whyte's 49-yard kick gave Edmonton a 27-14 advantage at intermission.

Whyte's 35-yard field goal allowed the Eskimos to take a 30-15 lead into the fourth quarter and he tacked on a 20-yarder early in the final period. Boris Bede converted a 32-yard attempt to cut the deficit to 33-18 and Branden Dozier's interception gave Montreal a chance to get closer, but Edmonton's defence stepped up and Reilly scored on a 1-yard dive as the Eskimos improved to 4-1 at home.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Reilly became the 19th quarterback in CFL history to reach 25,000 passing yards. He has registered 25,109 - 84 behind Condredge Holloway for 18th place on the all-time list. … The Alouettes are only the second team in CFL history to start five different quarterbacks in a six-game stretch, joining Hamilton (1996), and is one away from Winnipeg's record of six different starting signal callers in one season (1983). … Edmonton was without the CFL's third-leading rusher in RB C.J. Gable (532 yards), who was placed on the one-game injured list. …. Montreal WR Adarius Bowman and Edmonton CB Mercy Maston were disqualified from the game for an altercation late in the first half. … Alouettes RB Tyrell Sutton was carted off with an apparent leg injury in the fourth quarter.
