Eskimos 44, Alouettes 23: Mike Reilly threw for 415 yards and four touchdowns as visiting Edmonton beat Montreal for the ninth consecutive time.
Reilly completed 24-of-32 passes and added a rushing touchdown as the Eskimos (4-2) posted back-to-back wins for the first time this season. D'haquille 'Duke' Williams caught four passes for 116 yards and a pair of TDs, Kenny Stafford made five catches for 105 yards and Derel Walker finished with four receptions for 77 yards and a score for Edmonton, which overcame 17 penalties for 191 yards.
Vernon Adams Jr. was 15-of-28 for 217 yards to go along with 72 rushing yards and a touchdown for the Alouettes (1-5), who dropped their franchise-high eighth straight home game. Ryder Stone rushed for a score and Tyrell Sutton accounted for 121 yards from scrimmage for Montreal, which hasn't beaten Edmonton since Oct. 5, 2013.
Edmonton spotted Montreal a 10-3 lead before Reilly threw a 20-yard scoring strike to Williams and C.J. Gable made an acrobatic 17-yard touchdown grab to vault the Eskimos in front 17-10. Sean Whyte kicked a 13-yard field goal and Williams turned a short pass into a 61-yard TD with 48 seconds left in the second quarter to help Edmonton build a 27-13 advantage at halftime.
Walker hauled in a 36-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter and Reilly scored on a quarterback sneak early in the fourth to put the Eskimos in total control at 41-15. Stone found the end zone from five yards out and Adams hit Ernest Jackson for the two-point conversion with 7:29 to go before Whyte tacked on a 40-yard kick with 58 seconds left to cap a dominant display by Edmonton.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Williams became the ninth player in CFL history to record five straight 100-yard receiving performances. … Edmonton DE Kwaku Boateng registered three sacks, giving him five in his last two games. …Alouettes DB Mitchell White was stretchered off the field with a neck injury late in the fourth quarter. … Montreal QB Johnny Manziel, who won the Heisman Trophy with Texas A&M in 2012, served as the backup and did not take a snap after being acquired from Hamilton on Sunday.
