Bo Levi Mitchell threw for 292 yards and a pair of touchdowns as host Calgary shut down Montreal to improve to 5-0 for the first time since 1995.

Mitchell completed his first 12 passes before finishing 25-of-34 for the Stampeders, who have won nine straight home meetings with Montreal. Eric Rogers made nine catches for 113 yards and a touchdown while Kamar Jorden added six receptions for 86 yards and a score for Calgary, which opened a four-point lead at the top of the West Division.

Matthew Shiltz went 16-of-25 for 160 yards and a touchdown in relief of Drew Willy, who suffered an injury to his throwing hand early in the second quarter as the Alouettes fell to 1-4. Tyrell Sutton accounted for 96 total yards and B.J. Cunningham caught four passes for 47 yards and a touchdown for Montreal, which has dropped 11 of its last 12 road games.

Mitchell threw a 7-yard touchdown pass to Rogers just minutes into the contest and found a wide-open Jorden for the 2-point conversion as Calgary built a 9-1 lead after one quarter. Jorden hauled in a 30-yard TD toss and Rene Paredes kicked a 40-yard field goal to help stake the Stampeders to a 19-1 advantage at halftime.

Cunningham made a diving 20-yard scoring catch early in the third quarter as Montreal closed the gap to 11 points before Paredes split the uprights from 15 yards to put Calgary on top 22-8 with 27 seconds left in the period. Paredes converted a 19-yard attempt with 1:34 to go as the Stampeders remained the only unbeaten team in the CFL.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Mitchell moved past the legendary Doug Flutie (20,551) for second place on Calgary's all-time passing yards list. … Montreal WR Chris Williams, who leads the team in receiving yards with 283, missed the game with a strained hamstring. … The Stampeders have won 27 of their last 30 home games since the start of the 2015 season. … Rogers has caught four touchdown passes in his last three games.
