Redblacks 28 Alouettes 18:
Trevor Harris threw for 342 yards and three touchdowns as visiting Ottawa beat Montreal for the fifth consecutive time.

Harris completed 28-of-42 passes and William Powell racked up 138 rushing yards for the Redblacks (2-1), who moved into a first-place tie with Hamilton in the East Division. Brad Sinopoli hauled in a career-high 11 passes for 148 yards and a touchdown, Noel Thomas made six catches for 56 yards and a score and Jean-Christophe Beaulieu had two receptions for 50 yards and a TD for Ottawa.

Jeff Mathews was 18-of-30 for 280 yards and a touchdown for the Alouettes (1-3), who were held below 20 points for the 10th time in their last 12 games. Tyrell Sutton rushed for 41 yards and a score while Chris Harper added a TD catch for Montreal, which played without starting quarterback Drew Willy (concussion).

Harris found a wide-open Beaulieu for a 47-yard touchdown to put the Redblacks in front 6-0 before they briefly fell behind on Sutton's 2-yard TD plunge, but Lewis Ward kicked a 12-yard field goal to give Ottawa a 9-8 edge after one quarter. Sinopoli caught a 37-yard scoring strike and Thomas made a 9-yard touchdown catch - the first of his CFL career - with six seconds left in the second period to help the Redblacks pull ahead 25-8.

Ward converted a 31-yard kick early in the third quarter to give Ottawa a 20-point cushion before Mathews zipped a 14-yard scoring pass to Harper in the fourth to close the gap to 28-15. Boris Bede kicked a 44-yard field goal with 9:06 remaining as the Alouettes crept within 10 points, but the Redblacks made enough defensive stops down the stretch to preserve the victory.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Montreal WR Chris Williams had one reception for 33 yards before straining his hamstring in the first quarter and did not return. … Ottawa LB Kyries Hebert, who spent the previous six seasons with the Alouettes, missed the game after he was suspended for a high hit in the Week 3 loss to Calgary. … Powell has surpassed 100 rushing yards in six of his last nine regular-season games. … Alouettes WR B.J. Cunningham caught six passes for 68 yards.
