Roughriders 18, Tiger-Cats 13: Marcus Thigpen rushed for the go-ahead 34-yard touchdown with 1:29 remaining in the fourth quarter to lift Saskatchewan past visiting Hamilton.

Brandon Bridge completed 11-of-13 passes for 101 yards while rotating with David Watford, who added 50 rushing yards to help the Roughriders move back to .500 at 2-2. Thigpen accounted for 95 yards of total offence and Charleston Hughes added a defensive touchdown for Saskatchewan, which defeated Hamilton for the fourth straight time.

Jeremiah Masoli was 23-of-43 for 333 yards, matching the CFL record with his ninth consecutive 300-yard passing performance, but it wasn't enough as the Tiger-Cats were held without a touchdown to fall to 2-2. Masoli added 60 rushing yards and Brandon Banks hauled in seven passes for 113 yards for Hamilton, which hasn't posted a win in Regina since July 26, 2015.

The Tiger-Cats marched 78 yards on their opening possession but had to settle for an 11-yard field goal by Lirim Hajrullahu en route to a 4-0 advantage after the first quarter. Hughes sacked Masoli, picked up the loose ball and raced 57 yards for a touchdown to put the Roughriders on top by two following a missed extra point before Hajrullahu kicked a 30-yard field goal on the last play of the first half to give Hamilton a 7-6 edge.

Brett Lauther nailed a 52-yard field goal to put Saskatchewan on top by two before Hamilton took a 10-9 lead into the fourth quarter on a 19-yard chip shot by Hajrullahu. The kicking battle continued as Lauther (40 yards) and Hajrullahu (39) traded field goals as Hamilton remained in front before Thigpen sped away for the game-winning score.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Hajrullahu missed a 32-yard attempt in the first quarter to see his consecutive field-goal streak end at 13 in a row. … Banks went over 100 yards receiving for the eighth time in his last 10 starts. … Watford completed 3-of-6 passes for 47 yards. … Saskatchewan committed eight penalties for 107 yards. ... Masoli equaled the league record for consecutive 300-yard efforts shared by Sam Etcheverry (1956) and Kent Austin (1991).
