UCLA 59, Washington 57: Larry Drew II hit a 14-footer at the buzzer to lift the host Bruins over the Huskies in Pac-12 play.

Washington’s C.J. Wilcox drove for a tying basket with 10.5 seconds left before Drew dribbled the ball up court, darted toward the free-throw line and lofted his game-winning shot from the left of the lane as UCLA (17-6, 7-3 Pac-12) snapped a two-game losing streak.

Shabazz Muhammad had 22 points and eight rebounds for the Bruins. Wilcox scored 15 points for the Huskies (13-10, 5-5), who have lost five of six games. Washington’s Abdul Gaddy added 13 points and Aziz N’Diaye contributed 11 points and a career-best 18 rebounds.

The Huskies trailed by six points late in the second half, and a 3-pointer by Gaddy with 5:12 to play started a burst that was culminated by Wilcox’s tying basket.

The contest was tied at 28 at halftime. Washington took a four-point advantage early in the second half and UCLA later used an 8-0 spurt to take a 49-43 lead on two free throws by Travis Wear with 6:30 to play.

GAME NOTEBOOK: UCLA recorded 13 steals, five from Drew. … Gaddy had eight assists and moved into fourth place in Washington history with 403 career assists. He passed Justin Dentmon (401 from 2005-09). … The 20-point outing was Muhammad’s 10th of the campaign.
