No. 5 Duke 79, Florida State 60: Seth Curry scored 21 points and connected on five 3-pointers as the visiting Blue Devils rolled past the Seminoles in Atlantic Coast Conference play.

Quinn Cook made four 3-pointers and tallied 18 points and Rasheed Sulaimon added 14 for Duke (19-2, 6-2), which opened the game with an 18-2 spurt and shot 60.8 percent from the field.

Aaron Thomas scored 14 points for Florida State (12-9, 4-4). Seminoles star Michael Snaer missed his first eight shots and ended up with seven points on 3-of-13 shooting.

The Blue Devils scored the first 11 points to set the tone. The lead reached 20 for the first time when Curry’s 3-ponter made it 32-12 with 5:36 left in the first half. Duke’s edge was 42-22 at the break.

The onslaught continued in the second half as the Blue Devils scored the initial eight points to boost their lead to 28. Snaer finally got on the board with a 3-pointer with 15:13 to play.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
The 20-point outing was Curry’s 10th of the season. … Florida State F Terrance Shannon missed his fourth straight game due to a bruised spinal cord stemming from an injury suffered against Virginia on Jan. 19. … Duke F Ryan Kelly (foot) missed his sixth consecutive contest.
