Miami 77, Detroit 62: Durand Scott scored 15 points in his return from suspension to lead the Hurricanes over the Titans.

Miami took a 35-31 lead into halftime and never lost the lead after the break. Four players reached double-digit point totals for the Hurricanes (3-1), who have won all of their games on home court. Shane Larkin added 15 points, one game after a career-best 27 against Jacksonville.

Nick Minnerath connected on five 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 22 points for the Titans (2-2), who led by as many as eight in the first half before a 9-0 Miami run gave the Hurricanes the lead for good.

The Hurricanes kicked off the second half with a 6-0 run for their first double-digit lead, a 51-41 edge capped by a Scott jumper with 15:57 to go.

Scott had missed six games for Miami going back to last season after being declared ineligible by the NCAA for receiving impermissable benefits. His season debut also included five rebounds, three assists and two steals.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Hurricanes are now 2-0 all-time against Detroit. ... Miami has shot better than 50 percent in all three of its home games. ... Kenny Kadji pitched in 14 points and 11 rebounds for the Hurricanes and knocked down all four of his free throws.
