Amath M’Baye scored 14 points and the visiting Sooners rallied from 10 points down in the second half to squeak past the Golden Eagles.

Oklahoma (5-1) trailed 54-44 with 9:09 remaining before battling back to take a 61-60 lead on two Romero Osby free throws with three minutes left. Steven Pledger’s jumper with 1:16 left pushed the Sooners’ advantage to 63-60.

Oral Roberts (3-4) had its chances. Steven Roundtree scored and was fouled with 18 seconds left, but he missed a free throw and the Sooners grabbed the rebound. Shawn Glover missed a jumper with five seconds remaining that would have put the Golden Eagles ahead.

Warren Niles led the Golden Eagles with 21 points, shooting 8-for-16 from the field. Glover added 17 points and Roundtree scored 14 for Oral Roberts.

Osby and Buddy Hield each scored 11 points for Oklahoma, which shot 39.7 percent from the field and finished 2-for-10 from 3-point range.
