Washington State 66, Arkansas-Pine Bluff 38: Brock Motum and Royce Woolridge had 14 points apiece to help the host Cougars snap a three-game skid.

Motum added eight rebounds while Woolridge hit 5-of-9 shots from the field for a career-high in scoring.

Terrell Kennedy led the Golden Lions (1-4) with nine points. The visitors shot 30 percent from the floor and 22.2 percent (4-of-18) from the 3-point line.

The Cougars (3-3) outrebounded the Golden Lions 32-23 and forced 12 turnovers. Washington State trailed 16-14 with 3:56 left in the first half but a 16-0 run that spanned halftime helped put the game away.

Woolridge had five points during a 10-0 run that pushed the lead to 49-25 with 7:35 left.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Saturday's game was the first of six straight non-conference home games for the Cougars. Washington State is undefeated at home ... Motum has scored in double figures in each game this year. ... UAPB's DaVon Haynes stopped the Washington State 16-0 run with a dunk and finished with eight points.
