Marcus Morris scored 18 points and Thomas Robinson added 17 and nine boards off the bench as No. 2 Kansas rolled over host Texas Tech 88-66 in Lubbock on Tuesday.
Josh Selby chipped in 14 points and Markieff Morris finished with 11 points and 12 boards for the Jayhawks (21-1, 6-1 Big 12), who have won three straight since suffering their lone loss against Texas.
Kansas shot 58 percent (22 of 38) in the first half, getting 13 points from Marcus Morris to cruise into the break up 50-29. The Jayhawks were ahead 17-4 after Brady Morningstar knocked down a 3-pointer just over six minutes in and stretched it to 41-19 when Morningstar found Selby for another 3-pointer at the 5:49 mark.
The Red Raiders (11-12, 3-5) would not get any closer than 17 points in the second half and Kansas pushed it out to as much as 71-45 with a 7-0 run midway through the half.
The Jayhawks travel to Nebraska this weekend before finishing the regular season with five of their last eight games at home. A No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament is within reach should they be able to take care of No. 15 Missouri and No. 16 Texas A&M in the final weeks.
