Kenny Boynton had 20 points and four assists to lead Florida to an easy 75-43 victory over visiting Arkansas on Saturday night.
Vernon Macklin and Alex Tyus (seven rebounds, two blocks) scored 13 points apiece for the Gators (15-4, 4-1 SEC), who have won seven of eight games. Chandler Parsons also had a productive night with a career-high 15 rebounds, and added five points and five assists.
Macklin had eight of his points in the first four minutes as Florida rolled to a 10-2 lead. After the Razorbacks closed to within 17-11, the Gators ran off 12 straight points to take control.
Macklin and Boynton each had 11 points as the Gators shot 57 percent from the field and cruised to a 39-17 halftime lead.
Arkansas (12-6, 2-3) made 7 of 26 from the field (27 percent) in the first half, including 1 of 8 from behind the 3-point line.
Delvon Johnson had 12 points and seven rebounds to lead the Razorbacks, who lost for the fourth time in six games. Leading scorer Rotnei Clarke was held without a point.
