Lance Jeter had 16 points and seven steals as Nebraska remained undefeated at home Wednesday with a 78-54 rout of Alcorn State.
The Cornhuskers (7-2) wasted no time taking control, opening the game on a 10-2 run. The Braves (0-8) closed to within four later in the half but would get no closer, as Nebraska opened up a 23-point halftime lead and cruised from there, improving to 6-0 at Bob Devaney Sports Center.
Jeter added six assists and four rebounds for the Cornhuskers, while Jorge Brian Diaz poured in 15 points and Brandon Ubel chipped in with 14.
Marquis Baker led the way with 26 points for Alcorn State, which shot just 29.5 percent for the game. No other Braves player had more than seven points in the loss.
