Florida State survived a close first half on the road to defeat Florida International 89-66 on Thursday at U.S. Century Bank Arena.

Deividas Dulkys came off the bench and led the Seminoles with 22 points on 8-of-13 shooting, including 5-of-9 from the 3-point line. Chris Singleton finished with a double-double, scoring 14 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. He leads the Seminoles (4-0) in three categories with 21 points, 9.3 rebounds and three assists per game, but this game belonged to the Lithuanian sharpshooter.

Dulkys opened the game with a pair of 3-pointers, but FSU led only 38-34 at the half. He hit two more 3-pointers and a jumper in the first five minutes of the second half to push the lead to 51-39, and the Seminoles maintained a double-digit lead the rest of the way.

DeJuan Wright had 20 points, eight rebounds and three blocks and fellow reserve Marvin Roberts chipped in 18 and 10 rebounds for the Golden Panthers (2-1), who are coached by Hall of Fame guard Isiah Thomas.

Florida State has the weekend off before hosting Mercer on Tuesday. FIU, a member of the Sun Belt Conference, hosts Utah Valley on Saturday.
