Tyler Herro scored a team-high 30 points and made a season-high seven 3-pointers to help the Miami Heat to a 122-113 win over the visiting Atlanta Hawks on Friday.

Duncan Robinson scored 21 of his season-high 27 points in the fourth quarter for the Heat, who won their third game in four tries. Jaime Jaquez Jr. tallied 19 points for Miami, and Bam Adebayo had 18.

Trae Young also made seven treys and had 30 points and 13 assists for the Hawks, who saw their modest two-game winning streak come to an end. Friday was Young's sixth consecutive game with 30 points and 10 assists and he is now one game behind Oscar Robertson for the longest such streak in NBA history. Dejounte Murray added 24 points for the Hawks, while Bogdan Bogdanovic added 23.

Jimmy Butler missed his second straight game for Miami while he deals with a calf injury.

Herro made a shot-clock beating shot from well beyond the 3-point line to push the Heat lead to 114-105 with 2:01 remaining.

A Young triple cut the deficit to five points with 36.8 seconds left, but that would be as close as Atlanta would get en route to its second loss to Miami this season.

Trailing by two points at halftime, Atlanta began the second half on a 13-0 run to lead 73-62, a run that was answered by a Miami's 11-0 surge to knot the score at 73 with 5:26 left in the third quarter.

Jaquez's mid-range jumper gave Miami its largest third quarter-lead at 86-81, before Onyeka Okongwu's dunk cut the Atlanta deficit to two points heading into the fourth quarter.

Miami jumped out to a 15-3 lead four minutes into the game, and led 33-26 after the first quarter, thanks to 14 points from Herro.

Bogdanovic was the story of the second quarter for the Hawks, as he poured in 17 of his 20 first-half points in the quarter. His 20 points led Atlanta's first-half scoring, while Murray added 11 in the half. Herro paced the Heat first-half scoring with 16, while Jaquez poured in 15 to help Miami take a 62-60 lead at halftime.

Atlanta's De'Andre Hunter was a late scratch with a knee injury, with Garrison Matthews earning his second start of the season in his place.
