Raptors 126, Hawks 115: DeMar DeRozan scored 27 points and former Atlanta guard Lou Williams added 22 off the bench as visiting Toronto held on for its sixth straight victory.
Greivis Vasquez scored 21 points in a reserve role and Kyle Lowry collected 14 points and a season-high 13 assists for the Raptors, who have won 11 of 12 and own the NBA's best record at 13-2. Terrence Ross contributed 12 points and Jonas Valanciunas had 11 as Toronto improved to 4-1 on the road for the first time in franchise history.
Jeff Teague racked up 24 points and 12 assists and Al Horford scored 23 to go with nine rebounds for the Hawks, who lost for only the third time in nine games and dropped to 5-2 at home. Kyle Korver chipped in 19 points and Dennis Schroder added 13 points and six assists off the bench.
Vasquez scored Toronto's first 12 points in the fourth quarter as the Raptors opened the frame with a 14-5 run to stretch their advantage to 105-93. The Hawks cut it to four before Williams hit a 3-pointer from the left corner and then stole a Korver pass and hit two free throws after drawing a flagrant 1 foul on Teague on a fast break, and Atlanta never seriously threatened again.
Both teams were red-hot in the first half, as Toronto shot 56 percent and raced to a 13-point lead before seeing Atlanta shoot 58 percent and close the half with six straight points to pull within 64-61. The Hawks finally pulled even at 80 on a pair of Pero Antic free throws with 4:11 left in the third, and Antic tied it again at 88 with a 3-pointer before Williams answered from long range to send the Raptors into the fourth with a 91-88 lead.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Toronto won its 36th consecutive game after leading entering the fourth quarter and improved to 46-2 when leading after three periods since the start of last season. … Korver went 4-for-6 from 3-point range to pass Tim Hardaway and pull even with Eddie Jones for 17th on the NBA's all-time list with 1,546 3-point field goals. … Raptors PF Tyler Hansbrough (shoulder) missed his fourth straight game while Hawks SG Thabo Sefolosha was inactive because of flu-like symptoms.
