Wizards 104, Timberwolves 100: Bradley Beal scored 25 points and John Wall added 14 and matched his career high with 16 assists as host Washington rallied from a 16-point deficit to snap a four-game skid.
Nene scored 20 points, Martell Webster added 17 and nine rebounds and Marcin Gortat chipped in 14 points as every Wizards starter scored in double figures. Washington was 6-of-10 from 3-point range in the second half and finished 15-for-15 from the foul line.
Kevin Love collected 25 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Timberwolves, who had six players score in double digits but couldn't sustain a hot start. Corey Brewer scored 16 and Nikola Pekovic added 13 for Minnesota, which shot 34.1 percent in the second half after hitting 52.3 percent before the break.
Love hit two 3-pointers during a 9-0 spurt that put Minnesota ahead 27-17 with 3:27 left in the first quarter, and the Timberwolves led by seven after one period. J.J. Barea and Robbie Hummel hit back-to-back 3-pointers midway through the second to give the Timberwolves their largest lead at 53-37 before they settled for a 63-51 halftime advantage.
Beal hit two 3-pointers and converted a three-point play in the third quarter as the Wizards outscored the Timberwolves 30-18 in the period to pull even at 81 entering the final stanza. Minnesota stormed back from a five-point deficit midway through the period to take a 98-97 lead on Kevin Martin's 3-pointer with 1:10 remaining, but Webster answered with a 3 at the other end and the Wizards didn't trail again.
GAME NOTEBOOK: The Wizards scored 33 fast-break points to Minnesota's nine. … Love leads the NBA with 10 games this season with at least 20 points and 10 rebounds. … Minnesota PG Ricky Rubio failed to record a steal, ending his streak of 32 consecutive games with at least one.
