Hawks 93, Grizzlies 83: Josh Smith scored a game-high 24 points to go with eight rebounds and Lou Williams scored 13 of his 21 points off the bench during a 20-0 run in the third quarter, leading Atlanta to an impressive road win.

Al Horford contributed 19 points and 14 rebounds and Jeff Teague chipped in 13 points and six assists for the Hawks, who have won three straight and nine of 10.

Zach Randolph had 18 points and 13 rebounds and Marc Gasol added 18 points and eight boards for Memphis, which lost for just the second time in its last 22 home games dating to last season.

The Grizzlies led 49-41 two minutes into the third quarter, but the Hawks outscored them 32-11 over the remainder of the period to take command.

Smith put Atlanta ahead 60-58 with a 3-pointer during the decisive run, and Williams followed with three consecutive 3-pointers before knocking down a pair of free throws to make it 73-58.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Horford has recorded five consecutive double-doubles. … The Grizzlies forced 14 turnovers, their 122nd consecutive game forcing at least 10, which is the longest active streak in the NBA. … The Hawks were without F Kyle Korver for the fifth consecutive game. He did not make the trip and is home following the birth of a new child.
