LAKERS 113, CLIPPERS 108: Andrew Bynum scored 36 points and Kobe Bryant had 31 as the Lakers took a 2 1/2-game lead over their co-tenant rival Clippers in the Pacific Division.

Bynum, who sat out Tuesday’s game with the New Jersey Nets because of a sprained left ankle, was 13 of 20 as the Lakers ended the Clippers’ six-game winning streak.

The Lakers won the season series 2-1 and have not lost a season series to the Clippers since 1992-93.

Bryant was 13 of 19 and had six assists and five rebounds. Ramon Sessions had 16 points and eight assists for the Lakers (35-20). Pau Gasol had 12 points.

Caron Butler led the Clippers (32-22) with a season-high 28. Chris Paul had 22 points and 16 assists, Blake Griffin had 15 points and 14 rebounds and DeAndre Jordan grabbed 13 boards and scored 11.

Sessions gave the Lakers a 108-104 lead on a driving layup with 47.4 seconds left. Paul made it 108-106 but Bryant put the Lakers ahead 110-106. Gasol added a free throw with 18.2 seconds remaining.

Griffin tipped in a shot, but Matt Barnes added two free throws for the final margin.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Lakers shot 56.3 percent (27 of 48) in the first half. … Butler’s best scoring game in March was 18 points. … Both teams took care of the ball in the first half as the Clippers had one turnover and the Lakers three.
