Lou Williams scored 23 points off the bench as the visiting Philadelphia 76ers took advantage of the hapless Charlotte Bobcats for a 98-89 victory on Monday.

Thaddeus Young added 20 more points from the bench and Jrue Holiday led the starters with 19 for the 76ers, who have won back-to-back games to become the fourth 20-win team in the NBA.

The Bobcats (3-25) extended their franchise-record losing streak to 15 games. Charlotte will play its next three on the road.

The Bobcats made a late charge on Monday, drawing as close as 81-79 with 6:31 left after back-to-back 3-pointers from Kemba Walker.

But Williams responded with his own 3-pointer to begin a 10-3 run for Philadelphia. Williams buried another from beyond the arc with 28 seconds left to seal the win.

Philadelphia has held its opponents to 90 points or less in each of its last eight wins.

Corey Maggette had his best game since returning to the lineup with 22 points and Walker finished with 21 for Charlotte.
