Josh Harrison finished 2-for-3 with a three-run home run, and the Pittsburgh Pirates increased their winning streak to 10 games with a rain-shortened 7-0 victory over the Cleveland Indians on Monday night at Progressive Field.

The game was called in the top of the seventh inning after the third rain delay of the night. The start of the game was delayed an hour by inclement weather, and more rain prompted a second delay in the bottom of the third.

Starling Marte and Gregory Polanco had two RBIs apiece for the Pirates, who have not dropped a game since July 10 and have a double-digit winning streak for the first time since 2004. Pittsburgh improved to 11-2 in interleague play.

The Indians failed to record an extra-base hit and were shut out for the fifth time this season. Cleveland remains comfortably in first place in the American League Central division but has lost two in a row and eight of 13.

The rain delays did little to disrupt Pirates right-hander Trevor Williams (8-7), who pitched six scoreless innings for his second straight win. He gave up four hits, walked two and struck out one.

Indians right-hander Corey Kluber (12-6) endured a much worse night. He surrendered a season-high seven runs (three earned) on nine hits in four innings while walking one and striking out two.

The game marked the first start in 11 days for Kluber, who missed the All-Star Game because of inflammation in his right knee. The two-time American League Cy Young Award winner has downplayed the injury, but his numbers tell a different story, as he is 2-4 with a 5.21 ERA (22 earned runs in 38 innings) in seven starts since June 15.

Pittsburgh wasted no time getting to Kluber with four runs in the second. With two on and two out, Harrison clubbed a breaking ball into the left field bleachers for his fifth home run of the season and his first since June 16.

Jordy Mercer doubled in the next at-bat and scored two batters later on Marte's single to right field. Marte extended his hitting streak to 16 games, a career high.

The Pirates added three in the fourth. Marte notched his second RBI with a single to center field, and Polanco followed with a two-run double.
