Miguel Amaya, Dansby Swanson and Christopher Morel each clubbed solo homers in the third inning and Chicago scored six times in the sixth as the Cubs won their fourth straight game, 10-3 over the visiting Baltimore Orioles on Friday.

Morel had three RBIs and posted his second straight three-hit game, while Nico Hoerner added two hits with two RBIs and ex-Oriole Trey Mancini recorded two hits and two runs for the Cubs. Chicago stayed hot after totaling 28 runs during their three-game home sweep of Pittsburgh.

Kyle Hendricks (2-2) followed up his one-hit, eight-inning effort at San Francisco last week by yielding two runs on five hits in five solid innings Friday.

Austin Hays had two hits with two RBIs and Ryan O'Hearn totaled three hits for the Orioles, who totaled 42 runs while winning six of the previous seven but were held mostly in check Friday. The Orioles' bullpen also yielded seven runs over four innings.

Baltimore starter Cole Irvin (1-3), who allowed just two homers in his first 18 1/3 innings this season, was bitten by the long-ball bug in the third. Amaya led off with his second career homer, well into the left-field bleachers. Then with two outs, Swanson and Morel went back-to-back.

Those were the only runs allowed by Irvin, who gave up five hits and struck out four while pitching into the fifth.

Baltimore finally scored in the fourth when O'Hearn doubled and scored on Hays' smash single to left. That ended Hendricks' scoreless streak at 14 2/3 innings. The Orioles got within 3-2 in the fifth on Jorge Mateo's RBI double.

However, the Cubs broke it open in the sixth versus Baltimore's Mike Baumann, Cionel Perez and Reed Garrett. Ian Happ delivered a two-run single and scored on Hoerner's hit off Garrett. Morel added a two-run double and Seiya Suzuki finished the burst with his RBI single. It was the fourth straight game Chicago scored four or more runs in an inning.

The Cubs reached double-digit runs for the third time in those four contests on Hoerner's RBI infield single in the seventh. The Orioles completed the scoring on Hays' second RBI single of the day one inning later.
