Aaron Judge hit a two-run homer and starter Domingo German threw six solid innings as the visiting New York Yankees defeated the Baltimore Orioles 8-2 on Saturday night.

Judge now has hit three homers in the first two games of the series, belting two in Friday's victory over the Orioles. Gary Sanchez and Luke Voit each also drove in two runs as the Yankees took a big early lead and never looked back.

Those were Voit's first two RBIs this season and his first two hits.

German (3-2) won his third straight decision. The right-hander gave up one run on four hits in his six innings. He struck out six and walked two while keeping the struggling Baltimore offense quiet.

Baltimore starter Jorge Lopez (1-4) found trouble immediately. He gave up three runs, walked two and hit a batter in the top of the first as New York took a lead it never lost.

Lopez lasted just two innings, allowed five runs (four earned) on six hits and needed 71 pitches to get through it, leaving with the Orioles losing 5-0.

The Yankees forced Lopez to throw 39 pitches in that first inning as the right-hander struggled to find the strike zone. New York loaded the bases with none out, and a passed ball from Baltimore catcher Chance Sisco brought in DJ LeMahieu from third for a 1-0 lead.

That put runners on second and third, and both came in when Sanchez singled up the middle for the quick 3-0 lead. The Yankees kept rolling in the second when Judge belted his two-run homer off Lopez to left-center.

Rookie pitcher Keegan Akin came on after that and shut down the Yankees for the next three innings before giving up three singles in the sixth. Then, Tyler Wells entered for Orioles and balked in a run. Voit added a two-run single later in the inning for an 8-0 lead.

The Orioles broke through in the bottom of the sixth when Trey Mancini drove in a run on a ground-out. Ramon Urias added an RBI single in the ninth.
