Rafael Devers lined a tie-breaking RBI double that sparked a six-run sixth inning as the Boston Red Sox scored a come-from-behind 13-7 victory over the visiting Baltimore Orioles on Sunday afternoon.

Boston has won five in a row. The Red Sox rallied from an early 6-0 deficit with help from Devers, who finished 4-for-5 with two doubles, a two-run homer and four RBI.

The Orioles have lost seven in a row and 12 of 13.

Ty Blach started for Baltimore and gave up five runs on five hits in 5 1/3 innings but got a no-decision.

Boston starter Nathan Eovaldi was fortunate to come away with a no-decision. He lasted just two innings and gave up five runs on three hits.

Marcus Walden (8-2) earned the victory with an inning of scoreless relief.

The Orioles jumped in front right away. Renato Nunez crushed a long three-run homer to left that gave Baltimore a 3-0 lead in the first.

In the second, Trey Mancini lined a two-run single. Hanser Alberto's RBI double in the third put the Orioles on top, 6-0.

Boston then began to come back in the third when Devers and Xander Bogaerts got back-to-back RBI groundouts. The Red Sox then cut the lead to 6-3 on a Sam Travis solo homer in the fourth.

Everything changed, though, in the sixth. First came a Christian Vazquez RBI double off Gabriel Ynoa. Paul Fry (1-5) then came on and got Mitch Moreland to hit a pop fly that fell in between three Orioles in short left. That scored one run, and Jonathan Villar then made a throwing error that let the tying run come in on the play.

Devers then lined a double to left that snapped the tie and gave Boston a 7-6 lead. The Red Sox added RBI infield singles from Bogaerts and J.D. Martinez for a 9-6 edge.

In the seventh, Mookie Betts got a sacrifice fly off Shawn Armstrong before Devers hit a two-run homer which made it 12-6. Martinez later added an RBI single.

Nunez tacked on a fourth RBI for Baltimore thanks to a ninth-inning sacrifice fly.
