White Sox 11, Twins 8: Alejandro De Aza belted his first career grand slam and host Chicago clubbed five home runs to win the rubber game of the series in a slugfest.

Alex Rios and red-hot Paul Konerko also homered in the sixth inning and A.J. Pierzynski and Dayan Viciedo added solo blasts as the White Sox (23-22) moved above .500 for the first time since May 1.

De Aza, who had a home run overturned by video review in fifth inning, capped a three-homer, six-run sixth inning when he connected off reliever Brian Duensing to give Chicago a 10-5 lead.

Nate Jones (2-0) picked up the win with in relief of Philip Humber, who remained winless since throwing a perfect game in Seattle on April 21.

Twins rookie Cole DeVries (0-1) was roughed up for six runs on six hits in five-plus innings in his major league debut. He exited after Rios and Konerko hit back-to-back homers to open the sixth inning.

Rios also had a two-run double and Konerko added an RBI single in the third. Konerko went 7-for-12 in the series and extended his hitting streak to 10 games.

Justin Morneau hit a pair of homers and Joe Mauer had a solo blast for the Twins, who fell into a tie with the Chicago Cubs for the worst record in the majors at 15-29.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Konerko is batting .559 (19-for-34) with four homers and nine RBIs during his nine-game tear. ... De Aza's blast was the first grand slam of the season for Chicago. ... Twins SS Brian Dozier had a two-run single in a four-run fifth inning to give his team a 5-4 lead. ... The White Sox placed LHP John Danks on the 15-day disabled list with soreness in his throwing shoulder. The team will call up Jose Quintana from the minors to make Danks' start Friday against Cleveland. ... The Twins went 5-3 on their eight-game road trip and return home to open a three-game set against Detroit.
