Luke Scott continued his hot hitting with three hits and two RBIs and recent call-up Corey Patterson delivered again with three hits and two runs scored to guide the Baltimore Orioles to an 8-1 victory over the Cleveland Indians on Friday.

Miguel Tejada had a pair of hits and drove in three runs and Ty Wigginton had three hits and an RBI as the Orioles won their third straight. Patterson is now hitting .462 since his recall from Triple-A Norfolk on Monday.

Baltimore broke open a close game with four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning with Tejada delivering two runs on a single and Scott brining home another with a single.

Jeremy Guthrie (2-4) pitched eight solid innings, allowing just one run and two hits with five strikeouts in defeating his former team for the second time in his career.

Justin Masterson (0-4) surrendered six earned runs on eight hits in 5 1/3 innings to suffer the loss.
