Nick Johnson and Nick Swisher homered and Mark Teixeira drove in a pair as the New York Yankees completed a three-game sweep of the Baltimore Orioles with a 7-5 victory on Wednesday.

Alex Rodriguez and Derek Jeter each added an RBI for the Yankees, who have won four in a row and seven of eight and head to Boston this weekend for a series against the archrival Red Sox.

Andy Pettitte picked up the win, allowing one run on six hits in five innings. The veteran left-hander, who walked two and struck out a pair in pushing his record to 4-0, was removed after just 77 pitches despite no apparent injury.

New York scored single runs in each of the first three innings off starter David Hernandez (0-4) before exploding for three in the fourth. Jeter sparked the rally with an RBI fielder's choice before Teixeira provided the big blast with a two-run double.

The Orioles got two runs in the eighth on Ty Wigginton's ninth homer of the season off Sergio Mitre. Matt Wieters and Nolan Reimold tried to bring Baltimore all the way back with back-to-back homers in the ninth off David Robertson, but Boone Logan came on to get one out before Alfredo Aceves retired Wigginton to end the threat and earn the save.

Mariano Rivera and Jorge Posada were held out again for New York, though both expect to be ready for the Boston series this weekend.
