Kevin Pillar hit the second walk-off home run of his career with one out in the bottom of the 11th inning Friday night, and the Toronto Blue Jays defeated the visiting Cleveland Indians 3-2.

The Indians had loaded the bases in the top of 11th against Jake Petricka on a single and two walks, but Danny Barnes (3-2) retired Jose Ramirez on a groundout to end the threat.

Brad Hand struck out Rowdy Tellez to open the bottom of the 11th, his fourth strikeout in 1 1/3 innings, and was replaced by Adam Cimber (3-6), who allowed Pillar's 12th homer of the season.

Yan Gomes homered for Cleveland.

Tellez had two doubles and an RBI for Toronto.

The teams have split the first two games of a four-game series.

Cleveland starter Carlos Carrasco struck out a season-high-tying 14 in eight innings, allowing two runs (one earned), six hits and one walk.

Toronto starter Marco Estrada allowed two runs, five hits and two walks and struck out five in six innings.

The Indians scored in the fifth on an RBI single by Ramirez. It scored Greg Allen, who was hit by a pitch and stole second. Jason Kipnis walked, and Ramirez produced his 97th RBI of the season with his two-out hit.

The Blue Jays tied the game in the bottom of the fifth. Tellez doubled, took third on an error by third baseman Ramirez on Pillar's grounder and scored on Aledmys Diaz's sacrifice fly.

Cleveland regained with lead when Gomes hit his 13th homer of the season with two out in the sixth inning.

The Blue Jays tied the game in the bottom of the seventh on doubles by Randal Grichuk and Tellez, his sixth double since making his major league debut Wednesday.

Rajai Davis hit a one-out infield single against Toronto closer Ken Giles in the ninth and stole second, where he was stranded.

Hand pitched around a single and a hit batter in the bottom of the 10th.
